Dr. Tayyab Saeed Akhtar

Dr. Tayyab is a highly skilled and dedicated Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with extensive experience in internal medicine, endoscopy, and digestive health. He began his medical journey at Mayo Hospital, Lahore, where he completed his house job, followed by a role as a Medical Officer at the Rural Health Center Domeli for two years. Dr. Tayyab then joined Holy Family Hospital as an in-service postgraduate trainee, earning his FCPS in Internal Medicine in 2014.

Committed to providing specialized care, Dr. Tayyab completed three years of advanced fellowship training in Gastroenterology in 2017. He now serves as a Senior Registrar at the Center for Liver and Digestive Diseases at Holy Family Hospital, offering expert care in digestive health. Since 2015, Dr. Tayyab has provided private consultation as a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, specializing in endoscopy and motility disorders. He performs advanced procedures such as upper GI endoscopies, colonoscopies, and high-resolution manometry.

Dr. Tayyab is also passionate about education and has tutored numerous medical students and healthcare professionals. He pioneered the Foreign Students Academy to support international medical learners and is currently affiliated with the University of South Wales, UK, where he teaches MSc and Postgraduate Diploma students worldwide.
